I cover the bank holiday d2ds over the rest of my working days but still leave my day off d2d for my cover. Which you already know he won't do.fishtank wrote:What happens during a bank holiday week?Postie45 wrote:where does it say it ? no clue, but management have told us that we are to deliver a set row per day which is the standard in our office, i imagine its not the only one to adopt this system.clashcityrocker wrote:Where does it say it is your job to only do 1/6th of D2D per day?CPTNemoUK wrote:
Edit in my office we have sections on our frame colour coded. There is 6 sections all a different colour, each colour represents a day (red Monday blue Tuesday ect... We have a sheet on our frames to say we have done that colour for that day and we sign it to say we have completed them.

The point in all this is simply that it's not your call to leave D2D, it's not your day off cover's call either. If this came down to a conduct issue first of all your day off cover would potentially be sacked but then the investigating manager would ask you why if you knew they weren't delivered did you not deliver them or at least bring it to the attention of management. You would be hung out to dry because no manager is going to admit to condoning wilful delay and that's exactly what this is.
