What happens if someone has an accident then???SpacePhoenix wrote:Don't think that counts, afaik the PIC has to do a at least 1 training course before they're allowed to be a PIC.Celgar wrote:Well one of us Postie's is sort of in charge but I think he will be going out on delivery as well so the callers office might be closed as well. Leave them to cope on their own. They do it with evrything else, so why not when they have an accident.Who gives a toss. Certainly not Moya Greene.

The callers office is also part of the USO, I'm led to believe. Double jeopardy!Celgar wrote:Well one of us Postie's is sort of in charge but I think he will be going out on delivery as well so the callers office might be closed as well. Callers office man was due to be on AL last week but volunteered to come in as DOM just left/resigned. He took his two days off on Friday & Saturday though and who can blame him. His place was covered by another postie who is trained for callers office but due to numerous sick leavers I don't think callers office was manned all the morning. Sometimes these things happen. Its fairly rare but not uncommon. Rumour mill suggests we may get a previous manager back who was incapable of managing.

Like the sound of that running your own office, if anything like ours it’s managers who course all the problems, most of them have no people skills what so ever, when u have a disagreement with ours they just raise there voices & shout at u, that says it all.

I remember a certain manager who, upon being informed by someone that a bunch of people where sufficiently unhappy that they where considering resigning, announced over the PA that they'd heard this and just started the process for filling their presumed vacancies because they could always cancel the process if they turned out not to be leaving!woody38 wrote:Like the sound of that running your own office, if anything like ours it’s managers who course all the problems, most of them have no people skills what so ever, when u have a disagreement with ours they just raise there voices & shout at u, that says it all.
