We have a 7.5 tonne driver who has worked every day since the end of November Saturday and Sunday included is this permissable over Xmas pressure periods.

No it isn’t possible to work these hours he would have been pulled in for tachograph infringements a long time ago this is the law not Royal Mail rules

Yes it is possible as long as he has 2 breaks of at least 11 hours between duties. Also it depends on the actually driving content of the duty. Some of my duty's when I was mail centre driver were as low as 1 hour and that was nightshift 8hrs 18mins. Sleeping bag in cab, lol oh those were the good ol days.

No it’s not possible you have to have a weekly rest of 45 hours you can reduce it to 24 hours one week but have to get the hours back on week 2 you must have 90 hours off in a 2 week period that’s the law this is if you use a tachograph which a 7.5 ton driver would have to do

Maybe it's because the driver also does balance of staff.
