Talent Q test
Hi just wondered if anyone actually passed this test even if they ran out of time to complete it? Is it ok to get questions right but run out of time? Just a bit impatient to find out! Thanks

Accuracy is what they are looking for but finishing shows you can work fast under pressure. It took me a while to pass and be offered an interview. I've now just finished my 5th week. Practice as much as you can to give you the best possible chance. Then nail the interview. Good luck. Keep us informed and if you need advice if asked to attend an interview, then message me.

Thank you for your reply. I have got a start date in January . I was asking for a friend who told me that ran out of time but the ones they answered were right. I was hoping that there was a slight chance for passing! Seems it won't be good enough though. It took me a while to pass mine. Over 16 months so I do hope I won't be disappointed with my new job x

A bloke on my induction day reckoned he'd had a chat with the manager who interviewed him who said they only interview people who get 100% and finish. The key is doing as many applications as possible to get practising on the test.

Can I practice the Talent Q test (specifically for postman) somewhere outside of an actual job application? Done one application so far (and failed to get interview) and think the advice to practice was in there, but couldn't find where/how to do that.Mark1968 wrote:Accuracy is what they are looking for but finishing shows you can work fast under pressure. Gnuru, create a new email address and just apply for every job on the site, each application will give you a chance to practice the test

Interesting idea South_London_Postie. Creating new email addresses is easy-peasy of course, but would this not also entail creating an ‘alternative’ ID just for practicing? With ‘pretend’ contact details and NI number? Otherwise, would it not backfire if I got offered interviews, which I then cancelled?
