The ONLY way to derail it chaps, is to do the job properly, don't work a minute free, use the Vans, cut off, take your breaks, don't come in early and don't come back to the office early, don't do extra overtime, withdraw all goodwill.

In practice this flexable working is going to be a nightmare for the Managers too, as in addition to their usual paperwork, they have to plan "banked hours" for 100+ 200+ Posties, they also will have to work out shift work, decide who is coming in early or late, who needs cover and all this in addition to having to cover Cut offs, they will be in tears.


This is Crozier doing, everything he touches turns to sh1t, he has never been a Postman, he doesn't know the job at all, he left a trail of destruction in all his previous employments especially the FA , so expect the same here, we will be picking up the pieces when he leaves with a big fat payoff in his back pocket.

hence the point of withdrawing all good will, refusing overtime, you can only work a certain numbers of hours per day anyway, there is only so much banked hours they can use up and there no more especially round Christmas, this proposal is outragious and must be defeated, should it be introduced because sheeps have voted for it, tehn we have to make impractical as possible, its all come about mainly because of the Numpties who came early, using their cars, whizzed round and getting back as early as they can.

I really honestly don't think everyone will do it. They don't seem to want to keep informed (except for you peeps on here!), and love to rush around so they can finish "early" (what is that again now?). They never see the bigger picture, I was a rep and saw it every day where people just did their own thing instead of saving jobs for others. It's the "I'm all right Jack" culture that doens't make them see beyond their own little circle.

Sad to say, they will be the ones moaning when they're out of a job!

spot on bloke7,a very senior man in our D.O. who was moaning before
the strikes about all the changes,not only uses his car,but within a couple
of days of the dispute was the first to volunteer for overtime(to help out)
and only last week when the manager said if you take a section of another
walk(flexibility)you don't have to wait,you can go when your ready,you guessed
it,he bloody well did it.

2 blokes in our office have gone back to racing around again since re-intro of job and finish . they both deliver in roughly the same area. what they cant see is that the delivery in between them is a small p/t one. once flexibility gets in you can bet your last pound the p/t walk will disappear and guess who'll end up splitting it. ? why are people so blind ?

managers have gone home before most of us have returned to the office ( 230pm ) ! so has the rle officer, our 739,d specials sit around waiting to be picked up the next morning !
