Yep that's what pro rata means - in proportion to a F/T'ers hours.

Yes you will get a bonus, I think you said you are on 30 hours, if so this works out to be approx £154 before tax.

Will P/T get bonus ?

I suspect I know the answer, but is it based on actual hours worked over xmas pressure? Or do PTers have to have been officially made up to FT over xmas pressure to get the full xmas bonus?

Pro rata is an absolute joke if you’ve been doing overtime

I have been told there is an adjustment made in February in wages to rebalance the Xmas bonus in relation to hours worked i.e. to reduce or even wipe out the shortfall if you are a p/t worker doing regular f/t hours or more. RM managers have said incorrect things before though.

Correct.

As I have said before a few times the bonus is complicated:

The Christmas Bonus £100 is based on contractual hours of at least 2 weeks of the 4 weeks of Christmas pressure.

The BT2010 Bonus also £100 is based on actual hours worked in the 4 weeks before Christmas - Up to 39 Hours.

As mentioned in the post above, the extra overtime related bonus from the 2010 deal usually comes in Jan or February

TBT - can you confirm what I have highlighted? The CWU Productivity Scheme - Underpin Payment document that POSTMAN posted 28 Nov 17 in the following thread https://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communi ... 4&start=15" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (based on bonus criteria for Xmas 2015) states at para 9 that it is based on SSPR pay over a whole year:
9. A second payment on 15th January 2016 (or January salaries for monthly paid employees) will be paid which will top up payments to part time employees in accordance with the proportion of hours paid through Single Standard Pay Rate between the periods 29th December 2014 (pay date Friday 2nd January 2015) to 27th December 2015 (pay date Thursday 24th December 2015) inclusive. For monthly paid employees, those SSPR hours paid in January 2015-December 2015 salaries inclusive will be assessed.
However Dingo has said in that same thread that it's based on hours based in a single week up to Black Friday whereas in the quote above you state hours worked over
a 4 week period. CONFUSED - you will be!!!

I haven't seen a pay directive mentioning Dingos criteria, but that doesn't mean he is wrong. In fact, his post is probably more accurate than mine.

The 2015 pay directive was superseded and is no longer valid.

My post was based on what happened last year, I'd forgotten about Dingos post.

In essence, I guess we'll find out at some point.

:shhhhh :shhhhh its the Mushroom scenario all over again. :whistle :chuckle :chuckle
