I have applied for 2 delivery offices and have been called for a interview but at the one that is furthest away of course. I would prefer the one nearest to me, so am in a dilemma, to wait to see if the nearest office contacts me or do they only give you one choice, would be easier if the local office said thanks but no thanks

The local offices don't do the recruiting it's all centralised now.dixxy30 wrote:I have applied for 2 delivery offices and have been called for a interview but at the one that is furthest away of course. Take any interview you get, so long as you pass it you'll either get offered the job or go on a waiting list for any other vacancies. I took a job away from my local office to get my foot in the door and now am waiting on a transfer to one 10 mins from my flat. Well worth taking anything you're offered in my opinion, depending on your particular circs of course.dixxy30 wrote:I have applied for 2 delivery offices and have been called for a interview but at the one that is furthest away of course.
