Always surprises me that Royal Mail don't have a board of local specialists to deal with these types of industrial injuries, instead of just relying on the NHS (hard pressed as they are).

If they were willing to pick up the bill for a visit to a chiropodists, in the early stages, then surely it would save them money in the long term? How many Posties go long term sick with PF? Must cost thousands in sick pay. :d'oh! It's no wonder they're trying to reduce our sickness payments cheeky bastards. First they cause the problem, by changing working practices and increasing the amount of the physical work, then when you end up having time off sick they don't want to pay you. FFS. :no no

Really 97gaz? I went to Podiatry a couple of weeks ago. They took casts of both my feet and are making custom-made insoles. Hope I get the same outcome as you!

But as we know DP Royal Mail don't give a s**t about their staff or think of the long-term; all they are interested in is getting the mail out of the office, even if it cost them more in the long run!

You're right there PN. :thumbdown I bet all our High Level Executives have got private health schemes to deal with any injuries they might pick up on the Golf Course. :whistle
