Feedback from HR on interview

Hi there

Just looking to see if anyone can give me some feedback on the interview I attended? I received an email stating 'We are sorry to inform you that on this occasion your application has not been successful. You are eligible to reapply for a similar vacancy with Royal Mail Group in six months' time.' I assume this means I failed the actual interview? as the manager told me if I was unsuccessful with the position I applied for but my interview was successful I would be put on a list. Can anyone help? thanks

When I passed the interview but didn't get the position it stated 'there were higher scoring candidates however you were successful in passing the interview' and then I could apply for any other local position which became available 3 months without having to go for interview. Unfortunately from what you have said I believe it means you were unsuccessful in your interview and you will have to reapply the same way you did previously in a minimum of 6 months time. Sorry :(

Create a new email address and get applying.

You didn’t score enough points however the experience should help you be better prepared for next time. Remember to answer the questions that demonstrates exactly what they are looking for.

Don’t give up if you really want to work in this mad house.
