That's mind-boggling. We get packets for nearly every loop that won't even fit in an empty bag, never mind one with bundles of mail in.

We have problems galore like this in our office. It just depends who your partner is. Get a moronic jobsworth and every day is hell. My partner is excellent and we both drive and we both walk. None of this " its my turn to drive today b-----t" . If the van has gone when I finish a loop I know my partner is off doing some oversize packets. A quick text and back they come. It is not rocket science FFS

Secure it on top of trolley using bag handles, tuck it under your arm or carry it in hand. Easy if you want to. :chuckle

You go out together and return to the office together so if someone is taking the mick out of you then take your meal reliefs , go for a toilet stop etc to balance the karma out !

me and my mate haven't carried a bag since p&l came in our orifice about 7 years now , hes a non driver and I do the driving and there is no time between loops for me to jump in the van to deliver large parcels , but as we both work the same and use lwts and just sling everything on the lwts and yes the loops are 45 - 60+ mins each and it works well for us finish the 2 loops move to the next loops , simple , but theres posties in our place still slinging small parcels out saying that's for the driver just so they can run round with a bag on there shoulder , p&l does work but may take a bit longer using lwts but you have 2 options cut off or claim o/t , then there would be no option for dims to take dutys out or collapse dutys. :thumbup
