Ok,2 pages of chatting up Jessika
I've split the thread,so jessie you have the privilege of having your own thread and named after you too :Applause
It's in the Canteen JESSIKAS THREAD
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

20 years 2 months 2 weeks, but who's counting. I came here for six months until I got a proper job. What the heck happened?
Andy C. Price. Bitterne Manor delivery office.

A suspended CWU unit rep of seven years. Suspended for following instructions of his area delivery representative.
The area delivery representative still holds his position?

I have been imprisoned here for 23 years 12 on delivery and 11 in the mail centre. I was a unit rep on delivery for about 6 years and have now been a unit rep in the mail centre for about the same length of time...everything is really great as long as i'm not allowed any sharp instruments and get in line for my medication around 7ish....

18 years in August get less than that for serial murder now I think. Back then managers left you alone and trusted you to do the job, not like the 'You just fell off a Christmas Tree' attitude now.

Been in deliveries 5 years now. was intending not to stay longer then my 6 month trial period. was unemployed after leaving IT. got desperate, joined royal mail, seem to have stayed...

mind you it is fun. work with a great group of people. thats whats makes it worth goin in every day.

in the 5 years of being there, i have done pretty much everything in the DO. from delivering, to callers office, bus replies, now i'm in priority services, A+, you name it, pretty much i've done it.... Managers wages please?
