How does that work on light days though? Seems mad to me to take longer than required.
A light day - most likely to be a Tuesday, out of all - is shorter delivery span, and in my office, posties frequently are extended due to duties being too big.

That's where my office is different to be fair. Most of us are done by 12ish Mondays and Tuesdays.

Blimey, we are still singleton deliveries here and I still can't finish until 1pm.

We are going to CDVs next year though, looking forward to it.

Most people don't finish until 2.30-3.00 on Mondays and Tuesdays in my office....throughout the year. There certainly are vast differences between offices within the same company. The posties in the nearest office to us (only 10 miles away) are always done an hour earlier than us

Gone are the days of early finishes on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday is the only day we are likely to finish within our times and not by much either. I have been averaging an hour and a half overtime every day for the last few weeks. Having said all that it was lighter than expected yesterday and I finished ten minutes early. The screws said it wasn't that heavy last Xmas, probably because a lot of parcels were delivered prior to official Xmas pressure so weren't included in the figures. Xmas pressure should start after Guy Fawkes night.

Finished about an hour early on Saturday - including lapsing. :cuppa

At the moment its the same as normal for me early finish Tuesday and Saturday late Wednesday/Thursday. The number of D2Ds is a big factor if i get three or more the prep time leaves very little wiggle room especially if we get WTL on Tuesday of course thats a rare thing.

I refuse to go over my time now as management tried to bully me into going over over a period of a few weeks so that’s it not happening would have been much easier and cheaper for them to just take the loops off me.
I even leave mail on Tuesdays the duties I get put on are huge
