Transfer to southend on sea

I live in Leigh on sea but have been a postman in Rotherhithe office London for 28 years , how would I find out if I could transfer to my local office which would be Southend on sea , hope someone can help many thanks .

Try quizzing your postie, presume he/she knows you're in the job, and have a wander in on your day off and see what the manager has to say would be a start.
