Forced Change in Duty

I'm a 'floater', with a fixed set of duties each and every week, but management are looking to change one of those duties to a duty that another floater does - can management force this change?

You could use seniority or if a genuine reason as why you could not do it other than that the duties are RM's but selection is with the aforementioned criteria.
