The OP wanted the slightest excuse to do some one sided Tory bashing in order to foist his political agenda on us and hope not to be challenged on the veracity of his claim.

Such as the fact Labour has the same set of skeletons in their own cupboards, as recent events have shown, if you're going to dish it out, you would have to be prepared to take the same flack.

Proof that perception is in the eye of the beholder. I read the OP as Fallon bashing, not Tory Bashing.

You have been listening to too much of the Tory propaganda machine. You know, that one that paraded buses during the brexit campaign saying the NHS could benefit from £350,000,000 a week if we opted out of the EEC.
Errrr what has Brexit got to do with this?

There's leave and remain in both parties, it wasn't Tories who put up that bus you know.
Who was that blonde mop head that stood by it then?
Irrelevant to this thread but FYI Boris Johnson.

Anymore attempt at politically motivated irrelevant distraction dribble?
No but you should read your initial response to this thread to see where the politically motivated dribble came from.

The OP mentioned the word "Tory" three times, he was bashing Fallon and bashing the Tories.

Re The Jews, I'm not talking about Zionism, I'm talking about racism against Jews by Labour party members who were (begrudgingly) after much pressure suspended, I'm pointing out the double standards practised by Labour quick to accuse the Tories of wrong doing while ignoring their own failings.

Re "Your dribble" you tried the distraction method, Brexit, Blonde mop to take the focus off the actual debate on Labour vis Tory hyposcrisy.

"People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"
So people in glass houses should keep quiet, close ranks and deny there's a problem? That's the attitude that's helped to perpetuate the culture in which abuse of all kinds finds a place to hide. An unwritten and disgusting agreement to keep silent because some of our side are up to it as well. It's a pathetic saying used to encourage cowardice and fear.

People in glass houses should start throwing bigger rocks, I couldn't care less whose house it brings down.

See proof that perception is everything.

Tory Party conference - Thats hardly a "bashing" phrase.
Tory Press - that might be bashing but its the press not the party
A trick the Tories use at such events - that might be seen as Tory bashing - but having been to demos at 3 Tory party conferences its something I have seen with my own eyes.

But you said
Corbyn is an anti-Israeli and pro-Palestine, he turned down a dinner invite with the Israeli government.
I just pointed out its fine to be against Israel's policies as some Jews are, they see the state as Zionistic and believe everyone should be treated equally. Being against Israeli policies doesn't make that person anti-semetic, just like it won't prevent them from being so either.

Corbyn didn't make it confortable to be a Jew in the Labour by his inactions, this taken as ok to perpetuate that throughout the party. Fish rots from the head downward.

The OP didn't target an individual he targeted a TORY individual and used the Tory term throughout, this is to be taken as read Tory bashing.

Just read a third Labour MP is now accused.

Neither party is immune from the (real or perceived) actions of it's MPs and that's why neither is making much political capital out of the situation, however, Corbyn's "no comment no comment" replies as to whether he was aware of the rape allegation before promoting the accused MP is disturbing.
Even more astounding is the media's (so far) failure to press him on this.
If he didn't, then say so, and if he did he can explain the how's and why's, but to parrot "no comment" like some juvenile character in a TV drama is just so typical of the little weasel.
What will he do if/when he's PM and he doesn't like the questioning in the House? Try the same idiotic trick?
Had it been the hapless (hopeless) May on the spot, Sky, BBC etc would have camped outside her front door until she gave a statement.
Then again, had anti-Semitism been so open and rife in the Tory Party she would have been ousted long-since.
"One rule for one, and another...." etc etc.

True, its not a one party political issue, much like the expenses scandal (and Brexit). The 'top trumps' that is being alluded to in the media is pretty depressing, although Corbyn's support for the bloke under suspicion was probably due to this lack of viable allies to put into shadow cabinet jobs at the time, that is not good enough though. Piss poor state of affairs all around.

It seems it was the latest of a series of allegations over years about him on a list kept by the Tory Whips.

And yes I recognise this sort of thing goes on in all political parties, and probably in most hierarchical organisations, including businesses,. where men hold most of the positions of power in the higher levels. Doesn't make it right though.

Dee Plish wrote:I recall a big demo in 2013 at the Tory party conference in Manchester. The police described it as one of the largest and most peaceful demo's the city had ever seen. As the CWU section passed by, Fallon deliberately stepped out to wind people up and to try and get a reaction that he could have used in the papers. A trick the Tories use a lot at such events. We were witty enough to keep it to factual abuse. No story for the Tory press.
I was there too, he walked right past me, I just ignored him. There weren't many police on the march and it would have been easy to have a go at him and that was obviously what he wanted.
Despite the Manchester police saying it was a huge and good natured event, the Daily Mail, without any evidence, claimed that Conservatives had been jostled and 'spat at'. Probably came from him.
