STAGE WARNING INQUIRY

Can any rep out there help me, ive got a stage two comming up but need to know if you go from the dates of your last absence or from the date the last stage was issued. :

Hi, im not a rep, but as far as i know, the year starts after you have had your stage 1 warning, i.e if you have either 2 absenses or 10 days or more in any 6 month period you will be issue with a stage 2, so really if you have gone over 10 days it will trigger it..Good luck.

Yes it's from the date of the warning and not the absence that triggered the warning. Don't go in without a rep. Good luck

It's another thing the CWU should be looking at. You can go for months between your last absence and getting the stage issued, and it will count for nothing. Then you will sit in front of a bloody pen pusher who will issue the stage because a) you have no right of appeal, the the bastard knows it and b) it makes him feel tough and gets him a few Brownie points with the arse above him.

heres one.
when i was last off sick(injury on duty)and i came back the dom gave me paperwork to say we were going ot discuss my sick record with regard to a possible stage 1.i never got called in for the meeting

now ive been off for a few weeks im back tomorrow so will be on a stage for sure(not on duty injury) but could they try and put me direct on stage 2? or can i only go on stage 1?

If you haven't been issued with a stage 1 they can't go straight to the stage 2.
