Technically a very large chunk of of the small packets that we (Mail Centres) send DOs are Large Letters but they will have been scanned (if they have a barcode) as parcels so you're best best if to play it safe and scan every large letter and parcel that has a barcode, if you run out of time as a result and have to cut off, well that's the DOM's problem

The only time I have scanned a letter is if it is a signed for.

If its got a 2d barcode I scan it, even large letters packets and real large letters. The more we scan the more accurate the figures are that can be used to plan duties.

I would say yes, but not because I know for sure. I'm saying yes because I think most posties would be surprised by just how many little things are in some way incorporated into the bonus system.

Typing the tiny numbers in for a manual scan is doable but takes even more time than a 1D tracked bar code. Outward only, inward just Tracked and SDs get scanned
You can. Tap "Manage Outdoor" at the bottom of the screen, then choose "Ad-Hoc Delivery" from the following menu. Then, you can type in the long string of numbers and letters that appear above the 2D barcode. BUT, you have to leave out any hyphens or spaces for it to work (so you type in a string of numbers and letters without any gaps or special characters).
You must have all the time in the world nothing would get me to do that.
