Regards the no strikes before mediation.. although the pensions don't change before 2018 the actual decision Royal Mail has taken and follow up preperations have all taken place before. This surely has to release CWU to strike....

a straight question to dingo then. how true is it what RM are actually saying about this agenda for growth agreement, and the rules on the dispute procedures? they are actually suggesting we cannot go on strike until ''external mediation' (acas) has been completed. this will take upto at least crimbo. and beyond. I know in my own mind they are talking absolute crap, but can you clarify it is total garbage dingo!! can they block the strike until after Christmas with this 'no strike' deal signed in the AFG agreement in 2013.

If I am being honest Dingo cannot answer this question until the PEC have decided on what, where and how any Industrial action is going to happen, they will then serve notice accordingly, but before that happens they will most certainly be speaking to the Legal team before they make their decision and that will start tomorrow (Thursday). This only the start of things to come, there may be legal challenges etc before we can carry out the Mandate but all the speak at the moment should concentrate on getting an Agreement, Moya had a conference call today with every office in the country, very interesting, watch this space

Let’s cut through the bullshit. Royal Mail has spent millions on comms bombarding staff with reasons either to vote no or to delay their vote. They Failed.

This is the biggest yes vote since workplace ballots weee abolished in 1992.

Be in no doubt Moyà , Whalley , Cameron , Milledge and O’Riorden thought the ballot would be much closer. Don’t accept and believe the posts of some that the result was expected and nothing will change. That is bullshit.

Today was a day where Postal Workers rejected Royal Mail’s vision of the future and Royal Mail know that they cannot move forward to the place without the support of the workforce. Another fact that Some posters don’t want you too believe.

Already Royal Mail are backtracking on the pipeline proposals they have already moved from a 17:00 finish too 15:30. The union have rejected this. You see the company is in panic over the Pipeline why ? The power of the union ! Still a long way to go but if we stick together and fight we will get a much better deal than what Royal Mail have offered thus far. Remember Together we always get a better deal than what was originally proposed !

Now enjoy the result we smashed the Tory law on turn outs and we voted against Royal Mail’s vision by 9 too 1 , they have lost the workforce we really are the many they are the few.
