It has shown that a great proportion of the workforce have a vision which is totally out of sync with RM's. How is that not significant?

RM are obviously concerned about industrial action as they have just had a propaganda campaign North Korea would have been proud of.

Made me laugh but you are spot on! RM are delusional... nobody in their right mind would accept working until 5,6 or 7 every single day especially Saturday when they currently enjoy better hours of attendance. Plus lose thousands off their pension. Best of all though is the complete intransigence of the line management. Their union should be outraged as well because if RM get their wish to join the gig economy these buffoons will be working until 5,6 or 7pm each day too.

Most posties and I include myself in this, don't want to hurt the profits, dividends and share price. We want our concerns addressed fairly, and ideally without strike action. However, we do recognise that those items will suffer as well as Royal Mails reputation when and if we do strike, but they aren't the reason we will be striking, they are merely the collateral damage.

a 89.1 percentage yes vote is truly unheard of, well done ladies and gents for voting.

it is we the workforce that do a job no one in the industry does, no one in the uk deliver mail, d2d's, parcels , collections from postboxes , special delivery's before 9am/1pm , it is we the workforce that keeps the wheels rolling.

We the workforce are royalmail it is we the post people that are the true face of royal mail and it is we the postpeople who can grind the wheels to a hault.

Let’s cut through the bullshit. Royal Mail has spent millions on comms bombarding staff with reasons either to vote no or to delay their vote. They Failed.

This is the biggest yes vote since workplace ballots weee abolished in 1992.

Be in no doubt Moyà , Whalley , Cameron , Milledge and O’Riorden thought the ballot would be much closer. Don’t accept and believe the posts of some that the result was expected and nothing will change. That is bullshit.

Today was a day where Postal Workers rejected Royal Mail’s vision of the future and Royal Mail know that they cannot move forward to the place without the support of the workforce. Another fact that Some posters don’t want you too believe.

Already Royal Mail are backtracking on the pipeline proposals they have already moved from a 17:00 finish too 15:30. The union have rejected this. You see the company is in panic over the Pipeline why ? The power of the union ! Still a long way to go but if we stick together and fight we will get a much better deal than what Royal Mail have offered thus far. Remember Together we always get a better deal than what was originally proposed !

Now enjoy the result we smashed the Tory law on turn outs and we voted against Royal Mail’s vision by 9 too 1 , they have lost the workforce we really are the many they are the few.

Yes Comrades after all the crap our so out of touch directors sent out, only 8% of members bothered to back their vision for the business.
If any had a shred of integrity they would be all away to easyjet by the end of the week
