Contained the startling statement ‘All Angard Royal Mail staff will be considered for shifts prior to the allocation of roles to external Christmas Casual workers.’

In view of the comparative wage rates I’m certain they will try to stuff as many Christmas Casuals into RMCs before even thinking about Angard Casual Zero-hours contract staff.
Or have the last few months made me extremely cynical?

Perhaps a sweetener due to the looming strikes , where RM can't use external agency to cover shifts/backlog .
