I don't believe any manager would take the blame if you got caught out while following that instruction.CPTNemoUK wrote:When i was on lighy duties the cage found a special and it was after 1. If the customer is home, there's next to no chance they'll ever complain. Most of the time they wont realise it was timed, or wont care. Obviously it's risky, but it's your word against theirs, and the 3 or 4 times I've ever done this, nothing has happened. Still, I wouldn't recommend doing this.they also said if they are not in put the p739 down has 12.50.

mobile phone cover or charging plug before 1pm. It's been highlighted before, answer from
Helen Williams (Service Improvement Manager) to a letter in July 2014 Courier states:
"....With regard to the USPS item you refer to, I can confirm that we do not have to deliver these items, or
any other inbound international items, to a specific time."

Then why are they handed over as specials when you go to the locker?

I've been told that if they aren't scanned then royal mail won't get paid for it.

They are handed over from the Specials locker, but they aren't specials. We also get redeliveries from the locker there is no time limit on them either. Its just the process Royal Mail decided at some point to use and haven't changed. I suppose they could go in the same stream as tracked if they wanted.Mobey wrote:Then why are they handed over as specials when you go to the locker?
