They sponsored a boys football team that I used to run - they have set budget and try to help all people applying. They will ask how much you need, try adding about 30% on and then you should get somewhere near the total you need.

No, they do not advertise RM. We also got some training equipment - they sent some round stickers with RM Sports Foundation on and asked if we would put them on the equipment.
I know that a lot of people knock RM but this is genuinely good scheme - my understanding is that they work out how many requests they have and then divide the money between all in % terms.
