New pay offer announced

Has anyone noticed a Donald Trump vibe from the communications Royal Mail has been sending out to us? I watched quite a bit of him, when he was campaigning for President, and he was the master of speaking to his audience - something that he hasn't been given due credit for when the mainstream media has been working so hard to discredit him. Something like "Best Jobs" could have come straight from his mouth as a quick, empty, and ultimately, soulless description of a situation. Add to that the short, snappy sentences that lack the necessary adjoining words, and I wonder if that's where Royal Mail have taken their inspiration from in terms of trying to appeal to us. I could be entirely wrong, but it's something that has stuck with me with every single piece of Royal Mail literature that I have read, during this strike cycle.

The term "Best Jobs* and the Donald Trump link hasn't gone unnoticed it at time seems like the employer was leading a campaign for better terms and conditions. It's an odd position to take to turn a negative into a positive

Today's PDA message said a No vote would lead to further engagement

How the heck do they come to that conclusion

We had a meeting with the manager today in which he read out a letter from "Moya" with exactly the offer mentioned in this post? It's not fake news. Total bullshit agreed, but bullshit they want us to swallow!

Which implies that a "yes" vote will lead to NO further engagement.

Well we could all do with a well earned break and I doubt if we will lose any sleep over mail not getting delivered.

the rise depends on targets met, but all the managers and those upwards do is WASTE money (mainly by turning up for work) all we can do is cancel stamps to save money but while they waste millions on printing leaflets etc then i/m not seeing the rise next year.

Moya's got an "e" on the end of her surname but that must be because she's a woman, like 'blonde' for females and 'blond' for males.

The pay offer is terrible,its way below what other private firms are giving their employees and way off inflation.
No pay rise for 2017 so already thats probably equivalent to a 2% pay cut.
Next year a derisery 1.25%-3.5% even at 3.5% that's below inflation over this year and next.
£375 consolidated is a con as it's a lump sum not a pay increase.
I'm scewed with pension anyways since I left the company and returned in 2008 on the non final salary deal. I'll be voting YES based on terrible pay offer and later starts.
