I don't know who's giving them advice but I hope they're not paying them too much. It's probably the least effective anti-strike propaganda I've seen. Pretending everything is awesome doesn't really cut it when the staff walk back downstairs into the same toxic environment they were in before they walked upstairs. Comparing our terms to the likes of Hermes and Yodel is about as relevant as comparing them to McDonald's or Burger King. Listening to these WTL videos just leaves staff with the impression that senior management have lost the plot.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Bump, need more votes people and more honest non ranting/swearing comments, the press will be on us soon if they are not already.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

covieniently saying how wonderful the company is by listing all the t+cs we already have that they threatened to take away, whilst not mentioning the fact that they are decimating the pension, hoping to cease having area reps and radically changing our hours with no compensation is not going to get the majority of staff on board. Come on RM its time to negotiate in a fair way and get this sorted out. We posties are unique and cannot be compared to couriers,we are, as you keep saying "part of the community." Time for a few extra staff to deliver all these next day parcels you can attract by having a later acceptance time. After all you have a load of vans already there waiting to be used once the early shift is finished.
