Indeed they are,but the issue remains,you don't get owt for nowt,what are we giving up,in return , look at the D2D payment we used to get, this week I had 7 of the damned things,which we used to be paid individually for, now with double prep that makes it very time consuming. It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. Still a yes vote from me. If they change the times I work then I will see less of my kids and won't be able to collect from school. This is people's lives. I want a wage in retirement, pay rise not a lump sum. And I want to continue to work the times I do now.
Love the part about protections falling away. Isn't this exactly what they're proposing anyway. Especially the part about the new starts on inferior terms. Do they even read what they write.

Depending how many calls you have, obviously, in my experience, the d to d supplement is probably better now on balance as we still get payment if your on leave or sick or have zero DTD for a week. Very rare to have more than three or four . Course all walks are different though, if you have 900 calls you're probably worse off now.
