If this continues I wonder if other offices will strike in support of our fellow collegues. Branch decision of course, but if royal mail ain't budging on an agreement then needs must.

How can you mediate a position that won't budge?, the whole point of mediation is that both sides agree to enter the process with an open mind.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

Could take up to 3 weeks for mediation process to get underway. Meanwhile more of the same crap inside the DO if we go back in. Senior managers all over the DO today taking out Specials. DOM should be thoroughly ashamed of himself least not embarrassed at what he's caused. CWU filing for section 13 official strike action.

I think Royal Mail are going to be in for a big shock in the coming months, they seriously underestimate the workforce and the resolve, the upcoming ballot for industrial action will be an opportunity for all of us to stand together and show our disgust, good luck posties :cuppa

the mediation will be the same s**t they offered kilmarnock
its only a ploy to get return to work
there is NO mediation or change they just spin out lies
get one of their supportive union reps to CONvince a return to work or they wont talk to you
once back in its back to normal
rm will not remove mgmt at request of workforce its seen as a sign of weakness
do not be conned with false promises get everything in written signed agreements which they will be very reluctant to do
best of luck
and hope neighbouring offices offer support via work to rule at least

Yes we know they are desperate for us to go back. We had more managers in falkirk than our full region had in there offices yesterday. In fact at least 5 of the managers supported us vocally.

The office is doing great. We cant afford to strike financially but even more we cant afford to be buulied every single minute we are in the office.

Manager leaves pending investigation or we will not be back.

We went back in this morning although there was still appetite to stay out. Work to rule. Impressive to see a strong office.
