My understanding is that it opens for a month in end of April until near the end of May. It has done for the last 2 years. Going on that basis it should reopen next April/May.

I applied for this and was successful. I was offered the job and was told I would be starting very soon. Fast forward 8 months and being told every week it 'it would be soon", I was given a 2 day refresher..cool, it really soon then! Fast forward 4 months and being told every week it would be soon I was given 5 days training how to do the job...this is now a year since being offered a job and starting "soon".
......you might now think ive started haha...oh no, this is RM, the most disorganised bunch of helmets in management you could find.
6 weeks later im still being told soon!!
I've pretty much given up on it but what's really frustrating is there's nobody to whinge to, it's a faceless internet scheme.
If anyone knows a name I could get in contact with I'd appreciate it. My managers and union have no idea.

There is a network review in the near future. The Driver Career Path has nothing to do with that. It is an idea by RM to increase driver numbers to cut down on the use of agency drivers. It does take a while so hang in there, you will get a stab at the test

Don't expect one until after Christmas. Far too much going on at the moment.

I've passed my interview, signed and returned my contract. Had an email last Thursday saying that Pertemps have all the info and will be contacting everyone in the next few weeks.
So patiently waiting.

Yep same as me...... and not 1hr away from the Mail Centre which I had to choose in my initial application....

Why pick the nearest, to then be trained further away.
Training not done at the mail centres, just Pertemps training centres....
