Of course. They wont however welcome any steps that lead to the banking of hours as that will just lead to zero overtime availability and any excess will be owed to you - try getting a lieu day as it is!slinder123 wrote:the union will welcome working all hours to keep jobssteve1873 wrote:Whilst that will undoubtedly come at some stage, I am pretty sure that the CWU have not agreed to the use of technology as a means to bank hours!slinder123 wrote:the pda,s are now deducting the hours you realy work against your overtime so finishing early and beep beeping your mates is about to end thank goodness that will wipe the smugness of the ghosts faces

This probably happens to everybody sometime, but give them a sheet of paper with your claim and shortage, keep a copy, if not paid the next week then repeat. Still no resolution , repeat plus take it to the next stage , but keep those copies .Always write down your extra hours and which duties completed each day when you get home. Payslips are shocking as they do not detail any overtime.

I've also been underpaid before. After doing lots of overtime this week, if I am not paid properly for it...I won't be doing it again and will look for a second job.
