Hi there guys, I've just received my formal offer and information on my "Welcome Day". I was just wondering, is it normal for the welcome day to be a fair distance from the actual office from where you'll be working? The office I will be working at will be Egremont in West Cumbria and my welcome day is in Preston!
Thanks for any info!

Yes quite normal as a welcome day will be for several people who may all work in different offices, so is normally held in a central location in the area. You will be paid for attending and can also claim travel expenses as well.
