Being in the RAF doesn't necessaroly entail fighting for his country especially if those 22 years coincided with the Cold War when the most fighting many servicemen saw was in the city centre on Saturday night.

What about 3 Sqn RAF Regiment who patrolled the streets and provided support for the Army during the Troubles from 1969 to the present day.
Also the RAF Had a presence and lost servicemen in Korea, Egypt, Borneo and Falkland Islands. I could go on but your posts do seem to lean towards anti-forces in general, but as we are a Democracy you are allowed your views.
