Clearly the miserable workforce attitudes haven't improved either.
I suppose the unfortunate transferees are responsible for the jet fuel and traffic jams too?

The only miserable staff are the ones from down the road who all of a sudden have to work for a living,you really are a bitter little skate aren't you?

Maybe its because most of the 'scummers' are so far up the managers bums and grass everybody up that's why they are happier. 'Work for a living' ? How sad are you? Most normal people try and get away with it at Royal Mail. I think you need to relax and chill out. Your only working so the rich can get richer. We are all numbers and the sooner everybody wakes up and smells the coffee the happier you will be. Bare minimum is all that is required.

And as for Dorset Mail Centre the rumors have been around for a few years now about closing so its anybodies guess but the rumors are there.

A lot of neighbouring MCs have such love. Ipswich and Norwich are another and probably CB and PE also. We maybe one company but we don't all love eachother. Even DOs who merge have issues. Years ago I was at a HA/UB local footie tournament at Sudbury HIll and the Northolt vs Hayes match was abit of a bloodbath.

What has football got to do with royal mail and why the petty hate behaviour between merging mail centres.
Why does everyone have to be so anti at one another just because your from different towns. Have a good look at what's going on in our world with terrorists etc!!. Get a grip.

Good Question you may ask but like every DOs a lot of MCs have different systems they work to and after a RM review/consultation there are a lot of bad feelings especially when the closing office is moving into their rivals and believe me there is some gloating that goes on. We may be one company but we still have rivalries between areas. Sometimes its the case that the first office into a merged MC rule. A lot of politics goes on

There's no need to "hate" a town

even if it's Southampton or Portsmouth.
