Why moan? Why not go about getting the training required to be a performance coach and earn yourself 40k? Or any of the jobs that pay well? If you look, there are many ways you can study part time to improve yourself. Maybe volunteer for coaching roles? You can be sure the people earning 40k have done the graft required to get there.

You have to face facts. As far as Royal Mail are concerned, if you are a postie, you are dispensable. There are literally millions of people who can do a posties job. If you go, they can easily get someone else to replace you, someone who will work for less.

The more qualifications / training / experience you have, the smaller the pool of candidates, then businesses will start competing for your labour... at which point salaries start going up.

Its simple economics.

We are soon to have Doms being coached by professional dickheads on 40+ K a year for under performing ( aka not implementing enough savings).
This is when I feel sorry for the DOMs. Us posties are not the only ones who are piled on with pressure. It goes up the chain!

It's great to see this post ,a real shot in the arm just when it couldn't get any worse,I dare say they're having a laugh somewhere over it? A sad state I have to say.
Agreed. Royal mail relies on hard working posties...they should be treated with more respect. Surely it should be illegal to not be paid overtime?

Mostly the reason why a postman's performance is worse than another is because they do their delivery properly.
Why do you need a coach for that!!

Everyone gets it in the neck if they don't perform. Don't know who coaches moya though. Why don't the dom coaches just be DOM's? When you think about it everyone in elite sport (which is a business) so why not a company who need to perform too? Only difference is most elite sports coaches have themselves been elite athletes themselves.

I see this job is full time! What about upping some posties to full time. Ive been constantly on the managers backs about getting our part timers up to full time.
