New Starter at Angard

Hi everyone. I previously worked as a casual for Christmas 2016 and I've recently joined Angard and had my first shift on Friday. Just wanted to ask, as it wasn't exactly made clear throughout the interview and application process - am I expected to contact Angard to ask for work, or should I just wait until they contact me for work?

you will have to wait till angaard contact you via texts/or phone calls when shifts are available at your chosen work site

however when the texts get sent out it gets sent to lots of co angaard workers who will all be ringing to get booked in for a shift and you will get frustrated at your redial button not working fast enough

at this time of year shifts are t a premium and are rare [ can go 2/3 weeks without work and then get a 4/6/8 hour shift till the next shift arrives which could be once gain 2/3 weeks ]

work picks up around late september till middle january then drops off again .dependant of site and the number of pt xmas casuals they take on you can do lots hours in december

if your expecting to work 20-40 hours per week now you will be disapointed ,, work is good and easy enough after few weeks

downside is lack of hours upside lots spare time and can pick n choose when you want to work or if you cant be bothered were a proper job means you have to go in regardless ,,
