What the title says really.
During the wait for the recruitment process life goes on, things crop up.
I have some arrangements ahead which I didn't have at the time of interview so I wonder how this will be received if it means I can't attend the induction day offered?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Congratulations on getting your start/induction date.

When I received mine, the same thing happened & I had to reschedule.
I just sent an email stating that I was unavailable to attend the induction on that date however I was fully available the following week.
They took time to reply but it was fine. They sent me another email with a date the following week.

Good luck
