Getting worried now, need some positive posts

Post by Angwyn »

I know that forum posts are generally about grievances rather than compliments but I'm getting seriously worried about what I'm letting myself in for :cry
And I haven't even started yet!
The hours I've got are perfect for me, I don't want to do any more - I realise I'll go over while I'm getting up to speed.
But all this talk about rounds being impossible to complete within the time, lapsing, overtime a daily occurrence, rest days unpredictable/changed at short notice etc
Like everyone else, I have a life outside work and although I'm happy to be flexible and do extra on occasion I don't want to be taken advantage of.
So . . . . anyone happy with their lot? :pray

Just wait and see what it's like at your office. At mine most people finish early even when we have lapsing (yet there are ones who still moan and think they're hard done by). I've only once not been able to complete and I don't rush round. I felt the same as you before I started after reading some posts on here but it's been fine and I really enjoy the job.
