Hi I've been offered a job delivery/ driver 25 hour permanent contract but have been reading this forum and to be honest it seems as if this could be a wrong job choice by all the negative feedback is it really that bad???

Don't be put off. I discovered this forum after accepting a job offer and wondered what the hell I'd got myself into. However, I really like my job and work with some good people. I think people who have problems in their job are far more likely to post here than those who are happy so it does come across a bit doom and gloom.

I am a Moderator on here and joined in 2007, started at RM in 2004. After 16 years in the Forces, and various jobs in Call Centres, Sales and Admin, this is the BEST job I've had.
Ok there are issues, and the daily grind can be a bit soul destroying on the really bad days, but that's the case with ANY job. No job is perfect and despite its faults and issues, I would still recommend being a postie. It's not a job for a wallflower though, you need a strong character and a good deal of stamina.
