if they ask you to deliver them and you refuse i dont see how thats not refusing a reasonable request. I think you leave yourself open for conduct.

If the D2D are out of date or if the DOM has not properly reported the failure and is trying to get you to deliver them not to spec to cover his own backside - then I don't believe it is a reasonable request.
If s/he has followed the correct procedure then you are correct and the D2D should be delivered as instructed.

right, and sometimes the DOM doesnt even know that they have been left and would be angry at his line managers about it, so its worth raising it with the DOM if this is the case.

If that's the case then deliver them as requested but don't go over your hours
