I remember the boss of costa coffee saying, he would have to cut jobs when the minimum wage rose to £6.50p an hour as he couldn't afford to employ people on that wage, he was being paid £11 million over 15 months, £200.000 per week and this is the companies, the tories attract to this country with their promise to cut corperation tax, it is great to create 2 million jobs as the tories like to suggest, but they are usually low paid unskilled work!!! if CEO's are being paid millions every year, as is the case, then there is no argument, not to pay decent terms and conditions, now the cry comes out, that these companies will leave if we put up corperation tax, the same cry they spouted on executive pay!!!! no one left....we are a low waged, low skilled economy, and we need to change that, but that change, needs to come from the top!!!.

Yes it is very strange that when the Tories brought out their LIVING WAGE of £7+ they were not pillaried by these companies, no concern that there would be mass redundancies or companies moving abroad.

What good is a living wage when you cannot afford a place to live and not profit from those who need shelter a home should be a right for all even if it is a flat! Nothing could induce me to vote Labour for the foreseeable future. The party is reduced to a farce, it is not even a shadow of it's former self.
It does not represent the working class at all, just a pie in the sky, put dated liberal elite. A promise that can never realised is worth nothing at all.

Blair, Brown and Mandelson destroyed Labour and we let them. We let them because we righly feared the Militants.. and now they, the militants are back, with MOMENTUM, with the young dispossessed middle class kids in tow, bleating on about their poor lives, can't afford thir rent but attend every festival there is. Can't afford to feed themselves and actually know or heard about someone quite nice who went to , or saw a food bank. They are not racist, no, they love migrants... right up to the point where the migrants, who who work harder at their education start rightly out competing them.!

The working class, the poor, the migrant, the old and the vunrable and the deluded middle class deserve much more than any political party can offer or deliver now.

You prefer a Tory party for security. Their record starting from Thatcher who as soon as she became Prime Minister started cutting military budgets. The Falklands would never have happened had she not removed the submarines and frigates that patrolled those seas. Hundreds of British Soldiers killed for nothing in pursuit of revenge for an event that was totally avoidable. Also the ill equipped frigates and destroyers that were sent to the Falklands that did not even have the capability of detecting incoming aircraft and exocet missiles.

Theresa May presided over 20,000 cuts in the police and is already in the process of slashing the budgets for basic policing if she is returned to power. Specialist terrorist detection and services is having to call in ordinary detectives to help support them because they do not have the resources. Armed Police shipped in to areas they would not normally cover because of cuts to police budgets.

The Tories are the epitome of Royal Mail. Slash costs to the point where services are degraded and the workforce forced to bail them out. Short sighted and unable to run a country for the benefit of all.

Then look at Corbyn, Abbott etc and shudder at the very thought of either of them being in control either..

There are a lot more people in the Labour Party who will have a say within a democratic party, rather than a party purely set up to increase the bank balances of the few and who destroy every publicly run institution in this land for their own capitalist greed.

You're in some sort of parallel universe if you keep trotting out those meaningless platitudes in the vain hope that they might mean something, but in the meantime the BBC are reporting that Abbott is taking "indefinite leave from the campaign".
What a true dumb-at*e this woman is, it's polling day tomorrow, and she's done all the damage she can to labour as the campaign is virtually over.

That's Corbyn....just like the football manager who's losing and puts the sub on in the 91st minute....pointless now, and the whole country can see how truly inept the whole sorry bunch are.
