You clearly anti left wing in all all your posts if you seek war with me then prepare for the truth of your own ideals as for Farron and Clegg they had their time and wasted it on the conservatives!Tman wrote:Ok then, show me a post where I say I support them.bombarded by the conservatives but publicity cannot right the wrongs of the party of the rich and for the very rich but Tman will still be a supporter of them

Tman is a nihilist - he has no political persuasion one way or the other - his role, as he see's it, is purely to negate anything that you may find hope in. He takes a pride in it.k979aaa wrote:Never said you voted conservative but your rants on here would suggest that you a more far too the the right than Tim Farron or Nick Clegg not that I endorse them either but hay hoe!
In Fleet Street the terminology for what has occurred to Jeremy Corbyn is "beasting" - I believe its a term lifted from the forces. He's been singled out for total character assasination. It happened to Trump to some extent. And of course many leaders on the world stage who acted against the objectives of our foreign policy.
It could backfire. It backfired with Trump - but then he, of course, is a billionaire, which helps a great deal. But there are signs that the British public are not buying into it with quite the willingness they once would have.
Upset on the cards ?

You are making things up again. Corbyn has said he will respect the result of the Brexit referendum, but he will want to ensure we get as good a trade and customs agreement as we have now, and that workers' rights currently guaranteed by the EU are continued.NWpostie wrote:Unlike the inexperienced naive gesture politics gimmicky labour leader, who is prepared to ignore the will of the people and abandon Brexit in the event of no deal

Young children here are on now targets in the never ending war on terror and you don't want to look into how ISIS managed to take northern Iraq aided by donations from inside Saudi Arabia? You don't think there deserves to be a thorough examination of ALL contributing factors to the recent attacks and just shrug your shoulders and close that line of enquiry and carry on befriending the Saudis?Tman wrote: As for Saudi, governments do many deals with despots, dictators, and assorted evil regimes, .

In a country that is quite divided I won't be voting for a party that is also divided. I'm sure corbyn is a nice enough bloke but if he doesn't have the support and trust of his MPs, then how can he be trusted to run our country?? All I've heard from the Labour party is soundbites and there doesn't seem to be any clear direction. The last thing that we want is higher taxes and unemployment and a Brexit that doesn't work for everyone - and as much as I hate to say it - the Tories seem to be clearer about what Brexit actually means.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

He's not that exciting I'm afraid, He's just an old reactionary contrarian looking for a fight. More Victor Meldrew than Machiavelli.Tman is a nihilist

You're right of course Fish, but that said, as a life-long Labour voter and union member since 16 there's still no-one for me to vote for, so it's disconcerting to see you use the "which box can I fit you in?" dismissal so beloved of dear old jet though, as you do like to portray your level of debate to be somewhat above that old charlatan.
Despite claims of "nihilism" (really?
) and Victor Meldrew (yawn) I'll still stay home on voting day than go anywhere near Corbyn and the rest, and it seems that most of my office (other than the Conservative voters) feel much the same.
Still, must all be down to that lying antagonistic media eh?

Yeah maybe - but at least Victor Meldrew was funnyfishtank wrote:He's not that exciting I'm afraid, He's just an old reactionary contrarian looking for a fight. More Victor Meldrew than Machiavelli.Tman is a nihilist
My point is that those that sit on the fence and castigate those that are trying to find a way forward don't themselves bring much to the table except doubt, fear and fatalistic resignation. Like stroppy teenagers who don't realise that their ennui is a luxury bestowed upon them by their parents. They won't take responsibility themselves but take great joy in throwing cold water on the efforts of those that do.
I suppose the nihilist at least had some kind of a method - their negativity and scepticism was meant to create a kind of Socratic dialogue whereby the truth was arrived at.
Tman on the other hand just moans that the world won't devote itself to making him happy
Its all a part of growing up I suppose.

With regards responses to terrorism, Theresa May is reading from the Cameron script, and they are both reading from the Blair script. Almost word for word apparently. The effectiveness of the response ? I think we all know the answer to that.Danelectro wrote:Young children here are on now targets in the never ending war on terror and you don't want to look into how ISIS managed to take northern Iraq aided by donations from inside Saudi Arabia? You can't mention the Saudi links danelectro - its not the english way. They are our pals and let BP in. It cannot be allowed to be a part of the narrative. Just the same as the US funding of ISIS cannot be discussed. It doesn't fit in with the accepted picture of things. A rosey picture with no shadows. A black and white picture.
Only people that dig deeper are commies with Che Guevara posters on their wall. Not so long ago such people were burned at the stake for high treason.
Or sentenced to 35 years in prison
You aren't one of those are you danelectro ? A conspiracy theorist.
