If you choose to vote Tory, you deserve all that is coming to you after June 8th. Just for a moment, rationally tell me what is wrong with Corbyn?
He wants to build 100,000 homes.
He wants to peg rent rises to inflation.
He wants to give all primary kids a free school meal.
He wants to make University education free.
He wants to bring back into public ownership the railways and Royal Mail.
He wants to stop all the cuts to the schools that headteachers say will result in less teachers for your children.
He wants to end raising the retirement age over 66.
And he can do all of this without raising taxes for those earning under £80,000, whilst just putting corporation tax back to where it was a few years ago,
You vote Tory if you wish. But if you do, you deserve higher rents, zero hr contracts, Royal Mail hacking back on your pay and conditions, less teachers, rubbish railways and your children up to their eyes in education debt. Can't understand what idiots we have for voters in this country.

He wants to pay for it by increasing borrowing on top of what were doing now.. it ain't going to be played off by taxing the better paid a few quid in taxes. Look what happened in Greece. They can't even pay the interest payments, let alone the debt.
In the 1970s we nearly went broke to the extent we had to borrow money from the imf just to pay our basic bills. The country was in a right mess and inflation was touching 25%.

In an ideal world mate but he's not said where all the money coming from to pay for all this, in my eyes Tony Blair tarnished Labour for ever, I would rather not vote than vote labour.stephen500 wrote:If you choose to vote Tory, you deserve all that is coming to you after June 8th. Unfortunately while middle of the road socialist with a small c at heart, the costings looks like something straight out of Diane Abbot School of Economics. The deal breaker for me is the Brexit policy, non nuclear defence and open immigration. That didn't work too well for Germany and Sweden, the policies are completely unrealistic and unsustainable, when you start punitively tax the rich and corporates til their pips squeek, they will simply uproot and move to another country taking their assets and jobs with them, you might get some cash in the first year, when they end up leaving the country then 60% of nothing is still nothing.
Like it or not we need these corporates and riches for jobs and trickle down effect of money, they are the wealth creators.
I like the idea of renationalising railways, Royal Mail and utilities, unfortunately when bundled with the rest of manifesto, it's not enough for me to vote Labour.
It's 1983 all over again.

Whatever he might "want" to do is academic; all parties have been the saviours of the NHS and builders of affordable/social housing for decades but none have.
Corbyn can promise anything and everything because he's never going to be called out on any of it as he's never going to be elected.
Left wing voters will look back to the Corbyn era as the despicable vain idiot who killed off the traditional Labour Party.
He's going to get hammered in the polls and labour is going to disintegrate post-June 8th leaving no obvious party for the average working person.
No matter how awful May is and has been in the past, she's a veritable paragon compared to this utter loser.

A slight correction. Nuclear weapons aren't a defence, they are a designed as a deterrence.NWpostie wrote:Unfortunately while middle of the road socialist with a small c at heart, the costings looks like something straight out of Diane Abbot School of Economics. Corbyn, and the Labour Party have said they will honour Brexit, and they want controlled immigration, just that they won't set pointless targets that are never met.
Trickle down effect and wealth creators.

A nuclear deterrence is no use if you're not prepared to use it, you may as well stick it on a desk as a massive paperweight for all the good it will do, given Corbyn reticence about using it in the first place.
So it is a defence otherwise it's just an expensive ornament.
