Why don#t you weigh them?
If you know the weight of 100, you just weigh them and do some basic maths?
Whoever does the BRs must have a small set of scales. (for weighing things. I'm not suggesting they are a lizard)
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Easy for some walks. I have 1200 delivery points on my walk. At an average of 2 poll cards per residence I'll have well over that.
Christ 1200 delivery points on a singleton walk?!!

Are they all pavement fronted terraces?

RM should get us to run them through a CSS on their own as walk sort, you'd get a fairly accurate count

RM don't want an accurate count. We get paid for 1 1/2 cards per house but deliver way more than that. On the other hand RM get paid for every single card. It's not passed on to us.

Good on him, floaters/spares get screwed over on daily basis, never ever see any of the duty holders look out for us in fact sometimes it's the duty holders doing the screwing..he is probably fed up being treated like a c***!

The duty belongs to the floater on your day off I'm afraid. It's his one day each week... and yours the remainder :wave

I pray for the poll cards to come in on my day off. It rarely happens unfortunately.

Weighing them is innacurate imo, always preferred manually counting.

This is a 'legacy payment' that I could do without. Not bothered if they roll them into normal delivery with no individual payment for cards, the whole thing leads to arguments between staff, and managers try to refusse payment for docket over time on the basis that we are double claiming for polling cards. An old relic.

How can they (management) use the argument of no overtime if you're getting paid extra for doing polling cards when you would still be booking overtime anyway without the polling cards?
