I have enquired about IHR after over 20 years service
as I am covered by DDA I have been informed I should have no trouble getting it.
I have been told I will be entitled to 34 weeks +holiday +shares
what is this pillion you have mentioned as no one in our office have ever heard of it

Pay in lieu of notice. In your case the maximum of 12 weeks pay.

My lower back and right knee cap is giving me alot of grief lately i am scared to go to the doctor as i actually like my job :{

You could consider asking for a Buy Down. Where they pay you to drop your hours. That way you stay in the job but the reduced hours might make it easier for you?

That was the point I was trying to make R44

If you were working a 5 day week you could buy down to a 3 day week ...38 hours down to 24 hours. You might very well be out all day on a Full Delivery, but doing it for 2 day less.

Is it really that easy to achieve? I know for a fact that in my office you've got no chance of getting either a buydown OR going from a 5 day to a 3 day week (even without a buydown)
