An advisory referendum is just that, brexit wasn't advisory

All referendums are advisory (unless it is explicitly stated otherwise).
Parliament is sovereign, not the people.
Did you fail to understand why the government lost their Supreme Court appeal and had to have parliamentary approval to trigger article 50?

Yes but does widow krankie understand "once in a lifetime referendum" doesn't mean a life span is reduced to 2 years - come to think of it why not have one every year - who knows maybe one day the people of scotland will vote for independence then they'll be in the same position the UK is in now with Brexit. As for a referendum being advisory what would be the point of a referendum unless action was taken to ratify it. As for having to go to court to have the decision ratified was ludicrous, just some foreigner stirring the pot to suit her own agenda with the aid of the poor loser moaning remainers - come to think of it pretty much like the independence vote.

I see Wee Jimmy has eased off on her seemingly weekly calls for Indyref2. Maybe having played her one and only trump card (well, as she saw it anyway) she can now do nothing apart from sit back and watch the tide turn against her and her same old tiresome cry.
Then again, if she/they do manage to achieve full house of all seats in June then don't bother with another referendum, just give them "independence" (hoho) as that must be what they want and job done for Krankie.
However, should the overall count reduce from 56 then clearly there's a wobble, and as the SNP is a one-trick pony what do they do then? They may even have to think about domestic policy rather than focussing on Wezzminsturrr for the first time ever, and clearly that won't be easy.

I wouldn't normally vote Tory, but its the only party that seems prepared to push forward Brexit. None of the other party leaders have actually said the magic words 'Brexit means Brexit'. Of course it will still go ahead even if Labour win the election but it will mean more re-negotiations and a much 'softer' Brexit. I actually believe Corbyn does want Britain out of Europe BUT it is his MPs within his own party that is the problem

Saw Alec the Salmon on Sunday politics, he was asked how many hours they had spent on government time discussing independence and how many on education - fish boy said he didn't know but was informed it was 43.5 and zero - well I leave the reader to digest which was which

Wow - Tony Blair is about to re-enter the political arena on behalf of the Labour movement - now what do the Corbynistas think about that. The man they have vilified over the months may have a positive bias on the electorate - should Jezza tell him to go away - the man who won three elections versus the man who hasn't won any.
