Told by my Dim this morning that late starts on Saturday are staying FULL STOP!
No return to 5am.

SO THE EARLY FINISHES ON SATURDAYS ARE BECAUSE...THE WAGONS GO FASTER ON SATURDAYS THAN THE REST OF THE WEEK, EH?

• All in all, the offer for this year (5.4% not backdated plus lump sum) averages out to an extra Â£7.70 per week for the whole year.

• Of that, only Â£4.35 is new money (since the Â£175 lump sum was already in the ESOS scheme) and of that, the majority (2.5%) was offered as far back as May. So we have gained all in all an extra 65p a week with the new “improved” offer.

I make it Â£12.09 assuming Â£323 basic and 52 weeks per year. I don't know they got their figures because I get Â£8.72 as new money although I do agree with the 65p per week extra.

But, everything else seems spot on. I'm sure it has a bias slant to it but I can't see anything that isn't a 'fact'

I think your right Spedley i will tell them to do the sums again. I helped do the sums on the pay so i'll take the blame on that!

but its good you came back, we need to get an analysis that is spot on. Some people have done a great job picking apart the pension deal on another thread, that should be brought under this topic (the final deal)
