Has there been any update on the reasons for the strike? We are not being told anything, but managers from the local area where sent to do deliveries.
And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed-if all records told the same tale-then the lie passed into history and became truth. 'Who controls the past' ran the Party slogan, 'controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'"

rm shipping up 10 managers from london tmrrw sunday to deliver packets
40+managers in office tmrrw in total
kilmarnock and loudoun mp alan brown has been updated with events
msp labour colin smythe was at picket line today and was fully informed of all issues
he was told industrial action could harm local election leaflets next week
looks like mgmt up for a fight
if this is the case cwu members from kilmarnock may be looking for support from their colleagues from surrounding areas and glasgow
if rm can strengthen their position so can cwu
rm are lying to everyone guys
as happened last time cwu took national action it started in ayrshire (irvine)
looks like a repeat may be on the cards
if kilmarnock ask for support they hope the rest of area stand with them
Hope they get it last time we walked out of mc we were out for 2weeks its long and arduous though if you believe you are in right stick it out

Well done comrades. We all know RM managers have an aversion to the truth. Good luck and let's hope you are supported by you colleagues.

Is it true that they were back at work today?

Heard from a DOM today in the WOS that the reason was a driver was suspended for putting too many yorks onto the tail-lift of the van. True or false?

Did the DOM explain further because as a one-off instance suspension seems an over-reaction? But then that would explain the strike.

Whatever the cause it appears that the are still out and have refused to return until the IR process is started. Rumours are that an HR director is headed up there.

Also apparently another office is Glasgow has also walked though I haven't had any confirmation on that yet.

Breaking national agreements? Well, RM managers are told to 'bend' the rules wherever possible, and this is sometimes the result.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
