I'm not disagreeing with you on the declining volume carp. I'd just like to know how on earth has your walk stayed the same for 8 yrs! Our office must have had 6 revisions in that time!

RoyalMail don't count DSA as they don't get any profit from it most people get more shite through their door than ever before with more packets and parcels but the fact is supporting DSA is costing the business because we make a loss per item. This is the problem with a rigged market by a corrupt and corpulent government that is for the very few rich and famous and sticks two fingers up to the workers of this nation!

I honestly don't know why RM don't just charge full price for dsa. tell the regulator to piss right off. if they don't like it they can lump it. stick their fines up their ringpiece . they won't suspend our licence. no body else can deliver it.!! :Very Happy

They cannot do that every company who drops mail collects mail has a licence you can see it on the top right of every letter parcel you deliver it is an access agreement with the regulator but as we all know regulation is a sham in this country look at the utility market gas electric water and telecoms postal services and many more. It is time WE ALL THOUGHT A LITTLE MORE ABOUT RIP OFF BRITAIN AND NOT BREXIT FOR WE ARE BEING SCREWED FAR WORSE BY OUR OWN GOVERNMENT!

RE: Down Stream Access.

Surely our company should, at the very least, be able to charge a price that ensures it breaks even on every piece of mail delivered. It is a disgrace that companies are allowed to cherry pick profitable sections of the letters industry and our company is FORCED to deliver these items at a loss.

I would hazard a guess that mail quantities have dropped on my duty by ~40% over the last five years, i used to have more sequenced mail and far more mail sorted on ips.

But if i do outdoor work anything close to how we should deliver, i go over a lot more than i finish on time or early.

This is nonsense.
And while we are about it, who actually knows how much RM charge for DSA and how much we apparently lose from it?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

The regulator does and will they publish the figures and WHY because the market IS RIGGED non disclosure agreements from a regulator someone is getting a backhander lets face facts Royal Mail don't charge they are told to deliver it made to deliver it for a price set far below this is how competition is introduced to a market how can their be so many fools on here.

The drop in mail is fact the firms mail i used to put in a sack i can now hold in my hand even very large companys have very few letters however the packet volumes have grown to more then counteract it. What is also fact is most of us are working harder and longer.

If you look on UK Mail website it says over 3 billion items. (Cant believe RM don't count this.)
Their business is simple, they collect mail, take money, give it to Royal Mail, Royal Mail deliver it.
Basically money for nothing.
Scandal really.
