Success factors login

Post by GaryQ »

I'm struggling to login to success factors. It's been a while since I've been on. I put in user name and password then get up royalmail one login page, again user name and password entered then I get the following message - You don't have a strong authentication factor configured or it has been deactivated. Please select an option below.with select otp one login or sms.
Totally stumped, don't understand why they make it so difficult to check job boards. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I sent off an email which unfortunately didnt help any, however it contained the number for PSP help desk. I was the passed from PSP help desk to IT help desk then back to PSP help desk. Basically told that to use success factors I must log in on RM PC at work as you cant log in at home anymore.
Sounds like a great service. Im sure most people would prefer to use success factors in the comforts of their own home rather than trying to get a free PC at work.
If anyone has any other info regarding this please get in touch.
Thanks

I had a similar problem and I'm pretty sure it was because I have (or had) a Royal Mail email address, although nobody told me I had one or let me know what my password was, or indeed how to access emails using it.

However, I can now access Success Factors successfully in the usual way, by using my pay number as the username and my NI number as the password (but with the final character in lower case). So, either the Royal Mail email address that they never told me about has been deleted, or they've found some kind of work around.

When I first hit the problem someone in IT (Alex, I think - he sounded Eastern European-ish) managed to sort it out by giving me a One Login password to go with my Royal Mail email address as a username. But then it stopped working and IT were either unwilling or unable to help (maybe Alex isn't around any more).

So, if you think you have a Royal Mail email address then you'll need IT to fix your login problem - assuming they're able to.

By the way, I can successfully use Success Factors from home.

Hi

I have received a ticket regarding accessing success factors from home.

We have recently been informed that a new security release from technology has meant that users are no longer able to access success factors from home. My colleague was correct to refer you to I.T as the release has been done via the technology teams.

The new release has affected a number of users and we have discussed this with the technology team. This means that success factors can only be accessed from the royal mail network or via a VPN connection if users have been given a Royal mail issued laptop.

Unfortunately there is no work around at the moment and success factors can only be accessed from work.

I am unable to log in to success factors even from a royal mail machine using my royal mail username or my pay number. I've phoned IT Helpdesk and psp helpline already and neither have been able to solve the problem for me thus far.
It is very frustrating

Well, I must be seeing things then because I successfully logged on again today from home on my personal laptop :Very Happy I even applied for a Royal Mail job on Success Factors from home a week ago and the status of my application is now "Under Review", which proves it's working fine.
