Any of you people have these at your office yet?
Been trialling them at Medway for 2 weeks now and the general feeling amongst the staff who use them is positive.

Surely not?
Are they putting something in the water?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Bulk parcel/packet sorting.
The set up means no primary sortation straight to the secondary with a 46 york set up around them.
6 people are required,2 feeding,3 scanning and sorting to the selections and 1 porter.

Many MCs probably wouldn't be able to spare the staff to make such a setup work

Someone in our DO mentioned them. Said they could be of use where there are too many walks and not enough space to sort.
I think the general idea for use in a DO would be e.g. 2 people sort packets as usual from yorks and they put items on the converyor for lower frequency rounds they can't reach which another person can sort. Double handling on some of the mail but if you are limited in space or have too many walks then could be useful.
