A post office worker from Letchworth GC could face jail after admitting stealing more than £19,000 from Martin McColls, where she worked.
Sarah Bendon, 48, of Whitehicks, appeared at Stevenage Magistrates' Court last week accused of taking the money between November 1, 2015, and September 30 last year.
The total amount of money she admitted to stealing was £19,009.42. She pleaded guilty to one count of theft by an employee.
The Letchworth GC branch of Martin McColls and Post Office on Station Road was approached for comment on the case, but the manager said he was unable to do so.
The case was committed to Cambridge Crown Court for sentencing on Thursday, April 20.
