does anyone can explain below e-mail what exactly they trying to say? Do you think they accepted my aplication and they will arranging interview with me soon? Or they will put me on waiting list? thanks

We are looking to interview shortlisted applicants for this vacancy from week commencing 01/05/2017. We will be in contact around a week before this to advise if you have been shortlisted.

Not sure why you attached to an old news item so I split it and put it in a more relevant area.

Yes, they have accepted your application.

No, you are not on a waiting list. You have been put on a shortlist.

They will interview you during the week of 1 May.

Its all there in the email, but if you are not a fluent English speaker/reader the terms can be confusing.
